    Sign in with your zeroStudy account and confirm the name students will see; "My class" is created for you.

  2. Share the invite

    Send the link, write the six-character code on the board or show the QR code. Students join only after reviewing what they share and agreeing.

  3. Students learn as usual; you see the class

    Students keep learning from videos. A few minutes before class tell you how everyone is doing.

Students keep using zeroStudy for free; when the class keeps at it, everyone's word limit rises to 1000 and the videos you assign are translated for free.

Rule: in the last 7 full days, at least 5 students each immersed 15+ minutes on 3 days. You can assign 4 videos a week.

Frequently asked questions

Do students have to pay?

No. Free students can join a class and share their learning data. Joining a class does not give students personal Pro features.

What do students need to install?

Students use zeroStudy as usual: the browser extension on YouTube, Netflix and Disney+, or the mobile app for YouTube videos. Joining a class happens on the web.

Can students use AI translation for free?

Yes, but only on videos you assign. Once the class unlocks the benefit, students don't need Pro for subtitle translation on the YouTube, Netflix or Disney+ videos you add to the list in the teacher client. You can add 4 a week and keep up to 12 in the list; each episode counts as one. Other videos follow the student's own plan.

I learn with zeroStudy myself. Do I need another account?

No. The teacher client uses the same zeroStudy account; you just sign in to it separately.

What data can teachers see?

The student's name in class, immersion time, active days, their words with learning / learned status, Reinforce practice with their own ratings, and how many days they did Reinforce or shadowing. Teachers never see emails, video titles, links or subtitles, and nothing after a student leaves.

Does it work for just a few students?

Yes. A class can have a single student, and you can look at each student's detail directly.

What if I have more than 30 students or need more classes?

We arrange that individually for now. Contact us with the classes and number of students you need.
